Stranger
When I would carelessly glance at you
I knew there would be a reply
Yet that brief look would burn me
Long after it was gone
Your blue eyes would shine for
More than just a moment
In the light reflected
By mine own
In that brief fraction
I could swear I felt your warmth
Even if you were mere stranger
Never again to be seen
Paths never to be intersected
We move in our own worlds
You do not belong to me
I do not belong to you
And yet,
The moment belonged to both.
I knew there would be a reply
Yet that brief look would burn me
Long after it was gone
Your blue eyes would shine for
More than just a moment
In the light reflected
By mine own
In that brief fraction
I could swear I felt your warmth
Even if you were mere stranger
Never again to be seen
Paths never to be intersected
We move in our own worlds
You do not belong to me
I do not belong to you
And yet,
The moment belonged to both.
remedy
When there is little hope
You wish there were more time
Many problems plague puny minds
When wisdom doth flow backwards
How should one counteract
Foolishness?
Please remedy this creature called the human being.

A Word
When it is simply no use thinking
I write a word
A meaningless word
Completely out of line,
Floating without a sentence
Or even a phrase
I let it go
Float into the mindless space
Of the screen in front of me
I write a word
A meaningless word
Completely out of line,
Floating without a sentence
Or even a phrase
I let it go
Float into the mindless space
Of the screen in front of me
bedfellow
Strange bedfellows make startlingly good interlocutors
Before they abet intercourse
I shall not remember a name
But shall remember what the topic
Of conversation was, the night before
Words, they may seem meaningless-
Yet harbour a deep impression on the lonely mind.
Before they abet intercourse
I shall not remember a name
But shall remember what the topic
Of conversation was, the night before
Words, they may seem meaningless-
Yet harbour a deep impression on the lonely mind.

Many faces
There are different faces
Peering from a distance
Looking strange
I am a stranger amidst them.
As I walk ahead, I notice behind me
Walking; these faint faces
All as if in a haze
I cannot look at them clearly
I cannot call out to them
I walk on, I cannot stop for the
Fear of these strange faces
Might come closer to me
Might ask me my name
I must move away,
I must not let them see me
I turn my head away
I look ahead
As I grow weary of my sojourn
I know those faces will no
Longer peer at me
Vanished through the haze
No more faces in a blur
I would rather call out to them
For a last time
Out of curiosity
Out of regret
For the friend I lost in the haze.
Peering from a distance
Looking strange
I am a stranger amidst them.
As I walk ahead, I notice behind me
Walking; these faint faces
All as if in a haze
I cannot look at them clearly
I cannot call out to them
I walk on, I cannot stop for the
Fear of these strange faces
Might come closer to me
Might ask me my name
I must move away,
I must not let them see me
I turn my head away
I look ahead
As I grow weary of my sojourn
I know those faces will no
Longer peer at me
Vanished through the haze
No more faces in a blur
I would rather call out to them
For a last time
Out of curiosity
Out of regret
For the friend I lost in the haze.
